In this daily blog (and video)-series I take a first impressions look at the best mobile games that I come by. Be sure to share your favorite mobile game with the rest of us in the comments below! Some say Eternium is the best RPG for Android. Period. And with no paywalls, close-to-no pay2win, no energy system, and plenty of free premium currency each day, the 4.8 average Google Play score is understandable. The controls is one thing that really sets Eternium apart from most other mobile RPGs. Instead of complicated joystick controls, you simply tap the map or an enemy to move or attack, and activating skills / abilities happens through gestures (works REALLY well, and makes you feel like a true wizard, waving a wand :p). Playing Eternium as either a mage, warrior, or bounty hunter is a lot of fun and I recommend everyone checking it out, but while the game throws a ton of gems at you every day, it DOES also make you wait to upgrade skills, craft gear etc., unless you spend those gems to speed up this process.
