I can think of no other use for games than social ones, like music. I listen to music all the time, yet I play no games. I get energy from music. Games require active attention and can be demanding in that way and stressful and make you want to put them away, like watching a film. But games may live on in the minds of people after they continue playing them, or in a different way they are just different... ideally I think people would be able to pop open a little window and get a dose of fun just watching other people play or hearing or watching what they put up in their sprays or decisions they make if it's a complex game. Like a little party window. I think it's a game of impressions, and nuances, and people play with the costumes and props they have to create ...or explore, ideas. And impressions. It's like a movie they make, and every actor has a say, and every other time, next time, they can say something different, and try all the different ways. Having awesome props and role play and background and subject areas to explore I think is key. What better way than by introducing a new subject that's relevant. And material from the latest advances in science and technology etc. And exploring the best most atmospheric and emotionally filled areas. [edit] Everybody's an actor and everybody also gets to watch.
