Return of the strike-out feature in editing posts?

In the editor used to write a new post, there is the "strike-out" feature, the "S" with a horizontal line through it, to denote some text is to be skipped. In the editor to edit a posted message, this feature is missing. It seems to me that would be the place to have such a feature though, could that return?
